"Do not be afraid, Abram.
I am your shield,
your very great reward."
God spoke to Abram in a vision and told him these promises. They are the same for us today. When our life seems difficult, and at times it will, remember that God is your shield, your protection. When financial issues arise, and they will, remember that God is your great reward. Although this verse doesn't infer a monetary reward, in a comforting way it puts in to perspective the difficulties that we have in this world. God is our protection and our ulitmate reward, if we have faith in Him and Him alone.
