I love the story of Abraham because it is such a story of faith. God told Abraham to "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you." The Bible then says, "So Abram left." Just like that, he obeyed. He picked up and followed the Lord's leading and command into a very uncertain world. Your father and I are struggling right now to know where God wants us to be and what He wants your father to do. I don't think my heart has been truly open to "leaving" all that I have here right now. I have felt compelled that we would miss out on here if we left, but we would not miss out if it is God who is calling us to go. My prayer is that my heart would be open to where God wants us to go and I pray that you would seek to emulate the faith of Abraham whenever God calls you to do something or go somewhere. Even at three you are filled with passion and concern, I know God will use you. Don't look back as Lot's wife did, but go where the Lord shows you and your life will be filled with blessing.
