"If a person sins because he does not speak up when he hears a public charge to testify regarding something he has seen or learned about, he will be held responsible." Leviticus 5:1
Amidst many chapters of sacrifices and offerings stands this verse. While it deals with presenting evidence in the temple of guiltiness, I think it also bears the principles of speaking the truth and our responsibility to do so. Do not be afraid to share the truth that God has given. Be humble, loving, and wise when you share the truth and seek the Lord's guidance because although we must speak the truth we must also do so in love. When we speak on our own terms, even the truth can become muddled. But when we speak as the Lord leads, the truth can transform both our lives and the lives of others. So gird yourself with truth, guard your tongue, and speak as the Lord leads.
