Exodus 34 and 36

Exodus 34: 21
Even during the plowing and harvest you must rest.

These are incredibly comforting words.  God commands us to rest, even when we feel we are the busiest.  Do not heed this lightly, but take time for rest, particularly rest in the Lord every week.  We cannot accomplish the work God calls us to do if we are not rested and prepared to do so.

Exodus 36:6
No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.

Coming off of a moment of complete rebellion, the Israelites turn their lives and begin to build God's sanctuary.  They bring so much as an offering that the Lord commands them to stop!  Can you imagine bringing so much that God says don't bring anymore?  Our hearts and actions need to be in a place where we offer the Lord all we have.  I would love to see the day when God says we have brought enough, not because of how much we would have, but because it would mean the hearts of God's people are truly turned towards Him.  Turn your heart to God and offer Him your all.
