"This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat in haste; it is the Lord's Passover."
It struck me as I read this how detailed God's plans are. In preparing for the Passover, the Israelites were given extremely specific instructions to follow. We need to be careful to follow God's secific instructions. Even when we don't understand them or they seem not to make sense, God has reason. Even if we never know His reasoning, we can rest His abiding love and promises and assurance of His faithfulness.
