Genesis 41-43 Joseph's Testimony

We cannot comprehend God's plans for our lives.  Joseph, thrown into prison for no fault of his own, remained there for years.  It was not until a forgotten promise was remembered that we was released and removed.  But that was God's plan.  A false accusation, a forgotten promise, and a humble faithful heart.  Had Joseph remained in his original position of servitude he would not have been in the place to be raised up to power.  Had the baker remembered his promise at that time, Joseph may have been released for his good deed.  But God had other plans in mind.  God used each instance in Joseph's life to bring him to the places he needed to be,  but spiritually and physically.  My prayer is that we would remember that every place God puts us has been designed by Him.  If we are faithful to the Lord, He will place us where we need to be and we will grow.
